Welcome to Forest Primary School.
Forest Primary School is a thriving, friendly school located in the Forest parish in Guernsey. It is a single form entry school that shares a site with Le Rondin Special School. Recent developments, including the appointment of an 'Executive Headteacher' to both schools, Mrs Sullivan, are leading to significant ties between the two schools.
We currently have 163 pupils aged between 4 and 11 years old. They are predominantly taught in single year classes although they are sometimes grouped for subjects such as phonics and spelling. Classes regularly collaborate and share learning experiences.
We are very lucky to have a beautiful school building which was completed in 2000. Facilities include a school hall with separate stage area, a heated indoor swimming pool and two teaching wings - one for the Infants and one for the Juniors. Classrooms are a good size with furniture suitable for the age of children being taught. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and full WiFi access. Outside, there are two tarmaced playgrounds, a football area, an environmental area with pond, and two fields for the school's use.
